The all new Vitamix Ascent X2 High-Performance Blender retains the best features of the brilliant 2300 Series, and raises the bar on clean design while adding our favorite manual controls. The X2 is powered by a robust 2.2 Peak Horsepower motor, spinning a laser-cut, stainless-steel hammermill and cutting blades that will process even the toughest ingredients to super-smooth consistencies. The all-metal drive system ensures that silky green smoothies, frozen deserts, purees and nut butters are just seconds away. The motor base also retains the Vitamix Self-Detect™ technology, which reads the type of blending container you're using and automatically adjusts settings to blend perfectly every time. The glass flat-panel front interface includes a LCD timer; a dial to select 3 blending programs: Smoothie, Frozen Desserts, Soups, or use the Variable Speed manual control; and 2 toggle switches for pulse, start and stop. All Ascent X blenders now include an Auto-Clean program. Vitamix's gorgeous, 48 oz measurement-etched co-polyester container is incredibly durable and secure in use, and comes in at only 17" tall to easily fit under kitchen cabinets.
