Shun Dual Core 10.5" Yanagiba Knife
The yanagiba begins with an extra-thick, 4.5 mm-wide blade stock of Shun's amazing dual-core VG10 & VG2 steel composite. A single bevel is sharpened and honed by hand to an incredibly sharp 16° (comprehensive) edge. The thick spine provides great rigidity and some measure of heft that helps the user maintain a smooth, consistent motion. The blade includes a custom-made wooden saya (sheath) that will protect the Yanagiba when not in use. Ideal for professionals and home enthusiasts. All Shun knives include free lifetime sharpening and the Shun Dual Core 10" Yanagiba Knife is backed by a limited lifetime warranty. Handcrafted in Seki, Japan.Hand wash only.
