Handsome storage blocks are tailor-made for Henckels International knives and include a dark stained ash wood base and stainless steel cap. Each slot is labeled for proper knife placement, and fitted with a self-sharpening system that hones edges every time a knife is removed from or placed back into its slot. Again, the exception here is for serrated edges, which are designed to not need sharpening through many years of use.
