Shun Dual Core 8" Kiritsuke Knife
The Shun Dual Core 8" Kiritsuke Knife features the ground-breaking, 71 layer construction of the Dual Core Series in a multi-purpose shape that is traditionally reserved for Japanese master chefs. The Kiritsuke has a straight edge for precision cuts and slices, similar to a Santoku. But the spine breaks to meet the tip at a sharp point that is capable of very fine cuts. While the edge is not curved for rocking cuts, the light, thin and low-drag blade make the 8" Kiritsuke an agile, speedy and versatile alternative chef's knife. Ideal for chopping, dicing, mincing and slicing vegetables and raw or cooked meats and fish. Do not use on bones, hard winter squash or frozen foods. Traditional storage sheath is included. Hand wash only. Measures 14" l x 1.9" w x .9" h
