Shun Premier Combination 9" Honing Steel

The Shun Premier Combination 9" Honing Steel keeps the blades of your Shun Premier knives aligned and in shape. The two unique surfaces of this steel include a smooth side for day-to-day honing and a micro-ribbed side for weekly honing. Fine Asian knives are forged with harder steel and require less honing than Western knives, but the frequency of your Shun knife usage will determine if your knives will need daily or weekly honing. This Combination Honing Steel features an angle guide built into the handle so you can hone your knives at the correct 16° Shun angle. The premium walnut PakkaWood® beautifully matches the rest of the Shun Premier series of knives.
