The innovative Impress Puck System begins with an intelligent dosing system through the European-made 30 setting steel conical burr grinder. And once the fresh grind is in the 54mm stainless steel portafilter, it automatically tamps at the perfect 22 lbs. of pressure, even finishing with a 7º barista twist for a more polished puck. Plus, the Impress Puck System virtually eliminates overflow and spilled grind. And if the Impress System senses your dose requires a bit more or a bit less, the intelligent dose system auto corrects, remembering the last dose and tamp outcome and adjusting it to arrive at the perfect dose.
A fast-heating thermojet system with PID temperature control delivers optimum extraction temperature, and the Italian-made 15-bar pump handles a low pressure pre-infusion, followed by an even 9-bar press for the ultimate flavor and creamy texture. The Auto MilQ hands-free steam wand delivers a steady stream of 266°F steam for fast, velvety microfoam to create capuccino, lattes and more. Auto MilQ even allows for alternative settings that tailor the pressure, temperature and timing to the type of milk you use.
